OOTD: Sonsi “Be-YOU-tiful” Pop-Up Party

By Posted on 0

I just wanted to share a quick outfit post of what I wore to Sonsi’s “Be-YOU-tiful” Pop-Up Party. I wore this fun poncho top from H&M, pencil skirt from Forever 21 Plus Sizes, Sandals by Steve Madden, and necklace is also from Forever 21. I’m all about pencil skirts right now too!

You’ll probably see me wearing these sandals a lot! The leather is super soft and they were pretty comfy. And this is a better picture of my newly cropped hair! What do you think? I kind of want to add my bangs back… …

Yes, that’s me in all of my modeling glory. Sorry ladies, but that’s the best you’re going to get out of me…LOL! Last month, when I was invited to Washington D.C., Mary Kay offered to give me a celebrity makeover. Of course I said YES! The experience was…well…an experience. I’ve never been pampered like this and I’m definitely no model. But, that didn’t stop me from taking it all in!

Angie Escamilla, the stylist dressed me in Calvin Klein (top), Michael …

And the photos keep on coming! Yes, I told you I took over 2,000 photos…I was not kidding. LOL! On day two of Full Figured Fashion Week, we were invited to a breakfast by Just My Size (JMS). We got a look at their summer collection and a sneak peek into their fall/winter line. I’m loving their undies!

We chatted and ate yummy food. It was also a great way to meet the JMS team whom I’ve been working with. They’re so great and dedicated to dressing the plus size woman.

OOTD: Full Figured Fashion Week “Curves at Sea” All White Sunset Cruise

You’ll have to excuse these photos, LOL! I took these bad boys at the end of the night. I was tired and my clothes were a little wrinkled. Anyways…as you may or may have not known…I was having a very hard time finding my “all white” outfit for the “Curves at Sea” cruise. I was trying to find something that no one else would be wearing. It was so hard! As plus size girls…and as most of you will agree…we don’t have as many fashion options.

I wanted to wear something comfortable, I learned my lesson from last …

Full Figured Fashion Week 2012 “Curves In The City” Shopping Event

By Posted on 4

Who doesn’t love shopping? Really? The Full Figured Fashion Week “Curves In The City” shopping event was pretty much what I needed at this point. I snatched up a beautiful Queen Grace dress for $34! In my world, that’s pretty exciting!

Vendors sold clothes, jewelry, beauty products, and accessories. I even got a bra fitting by Cacique, which you should get every 6 months by-the-way. And don’t get me started on the cake pops I devoured courtesy of MYNT 1792-they definitely have my attention right now.

Of course, I was snapping away…here are more pics!

Full Figured Fashion Week “Curves at Sea” All White Sunset Cruise

As we waited in line to board Full Figured Fashion Week’s “Curves at Sea” All White Sunset Cruise, all I could think of was how beautiful everyone looked. Of course, I was also looking to see how many of these beautiful ladies were wearing the same thing, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were only one or two repeats. Yay! I know it was hard to find what I was going to wear. LOL!

The cruise was so much fun with the Sonsi Photo Booth (that I missed), the swag bags, and the …
