What can I say about working out that you aren’t already thinking? OK, there are probably a million words you might want to use to describe it and maybe some aren’t so nice. So, I’m going to stay positive here and tell you that it doesn’t matter if I’m running, doing yoga, dancing, or walking—I know my body is super grateful after a workout. During is a different story.
When I decide to get my sweat on, there is one thing I will not compromise on. And that is and always will be my comfort level. This includes what I’m wearing underneath my active wear. A supportive and cooperating sport bra is numero uno. I will admit I’ve made mistakes in the past and I refuse to be the victim of an uncomfortable, wire-poking, strap-digging, riding-up-the-back sport bra.
Vanity Fair, the maker of your favorite lingerie, has developed a new medium-impact sport bra and I got to try it out. Because I’ve been wronged many times in this department, it’s really easy for me to be skeptical. Could this Vanity Fair Sport Bra be the answer to my sport bra problems?
The answer is yes and yes. Here’s what I got:
● Wide and strong shoulder straps that offer me glorious support.
● Wire-free molded cups that separate and give me a natural shape (also comes in underwire, if you prefer).
● Convertible straps that let me wear different style workout tops.
● Mesh lining to wick away moisture and help stay dry.
All of these are perfect for the medium-impact work out lifestyle I’m living right now. Since I’m currently working on rehabbing my unreasonable lower back. And more than anything, it’s so amazingly comfortable and lightweight. There is an underwire version of this Sport Bra if you’re interested. I love that it doesn’t even look like I’m wearing a sport bra either. You know that’s a thing.
This Vanity Fair Sport Bra has me now questioning all of my sport bras. Maybe you should too.
What’s your #1 concern when shopping for a new sport bra?
