As I sat down to write this post, I started thinking about skin types and how each of us is so different from the next. You might have oily skin and the person sitting next to you might have dry skin. I’m the one with combination skin. Then I started thinking about skin care routines and how that varies too. Even though we might differ in these areas, I’m pretty sure we all have the same concerns when it comes to aging skin. OK, I’m not losing sleep over here about it, but I do like to care for the …
There was a time when all I could do was just sit, cry, and pray that the pimples on my face would go away. It was pimple on top of pimple. I was in my early 20’s, not a teenager! When I fall in love with them, I write about them here.
Let’s get started on these five cruelty-free beauty products that have recently won my heart.

As if Cover FX couldn’t get any cooler with customization these days. Say hello to Cover FX Custom Infusion Drops. Cover FX invited us to a special event with Chef Claudia Sandoval (winner of Master Chef, Season 6). She taught us how to make a delectable dessert inspired by the drops. Of course in this case we used edible ingredients.
Oh summer, you are so awesome—when you’re not blazingly blinding me. Actually, I’m kind of happy with the mild weather you’ve given us Angelenos this season. Still, I find myself dealing with a few summer beauty issues. Am I alone here? I doubt it. Thank goodness for these three essential summer beauty fixes I found for my peskiest problems.
