I’ll be the first person to admit I’m not a fan of the intense heat. But, I do love summer in Los Angeles, it’s not too unbearable (like other cities). Now, if it could stay 75 degrees the entire season—I’d be a happy Angeleno (we know it won’t). And since it seems like I’m always on-the-go lately, I have to make sure this chick stays cool and refreshed while I hit the streets. That means a bag of necessities and these summer tips (courtesy of Bottled Starbucks® Iced Coffee) that will beat the heat.
Hola Los Angeles loves! I have a chance for you to enter to win an exclusive VIP ticket to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s 1st Annual Super Saturday Los Angeles on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in Santa Monica at The Barker Hanger. Hosted by Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman with Molly Sims and Scott Stuber, the charity shopping event will be unlike any other. The New York Times has even called it “the Rolls Royce of garage sales.”
I’ve been feeling a little tropical lately. Blame it on the weather, my recent trip to the Dominican Republic, and a beautiful Topshop dress (that doesn’t come in my size). I just want to wear nothing but tropical prints. So, what do I do when that happens? I write about it here of course. I search the web for all things that inspire my tropical craving.

We all know that blueberries are yummy. I love them in my pancakes and muffins (of course I do). But, I never really considered using them in my beauty products. That was until The Body Shop sent me their Special Edition Blueberry bath and body range. This includes everyone’s favorite—the body butter. I had a chance to try out a few of the products and they are bluerberry-licious! Yup…I just made that word up.
Where are my Brad fans at? You might remember Brad Goreski as Rachel Zoe’s right-hand man on The Rachel Zoe Project. Well he’s no one’s right-hand man anymore! Brad is now a stylist to the stars—you may have seen a few of his A-list clients on the best dressed lists. And he knows better than anyone that radiant skin will not cramp your style. In fact, he’s teamed up with Suave Professionals Body Care and is sharing his Red Carpet Radiance Style Commandments.
When it comes to my personal style, I never put comfort on the back burner. I just can’t. No matter where I’m going, my outfit has to be comfortable. That’s just how it has to be. It’s something that took me a long time to learn, unfortunately. It comes with age I guess. And that’s perfectly fine with me. Being comfortable equals happiness. And I love being happy with my fashion choices.
